TALLY is an award-winning film studio based in Sydney, Australia.
Founded by directors Archie Hancock and Jack Zimmerman, we make work that slips between documentary and fiction — stories about memory, disappearance, and the quiet shocks of ordinary life.
Our short documentary The Conversation won Silver at the Young Directors Award in Cannes and screened at Oscar- and BAFTA-qualifying festivals, with national coverage in The Sydney Morning Herald, ABC News, and The Age.
Our upcoming projects include Albion Street, an animated film backed by an Oscar-winning producer, and Despite the Night, starring Critics Choice nominee Ed Oxenbould and Joe Bird (Talk to Me), shot by Sundance alum Sean Ryan.
We work with collaborators whose films have premiered at Venice, Sundance, Berlinale, and Annecy, and we’re building a body of work that’s visually bold, emotionally sharp, and globally relevant.
